Jazz

Classes for ages 5-15 years.

An upbeat, high energy, technical dance style including, strength, flexibility, leaps, turns, and modern choreography. This genre attracts dancers who are focused, goal orientated but want a fun and upbeat class environment and have energy to burn.

All syllabus classes work towards sitting a mid year NZAMD (New Zealand Association of Modern Dance) Jazz exam.

Jazz class times

Pre-Rosette 1: Tuesday 3.30-4.00pm 5-6years

Pre-Rosette 2: Tuesday 4.00-4.30pm 6-7years

Pre-Rosette 3 Jazz: Tuesday 4.30-5.15pm 7-8 years

Grade 1 Jazz: Thursday 5.15-6.00pm 8-9 years

Grade 2 Jazz: Wednesday 4.00-5.00pm 9-10 years

Grade 3 Jazz: Wednesday 6.00-7.00pm 10-12 years

Grade 4 Jazz: Tuesday 5.15-6.15pm 11-13 years
